Docbots are hovering Machines that appear in The Matrix. They monitor the human pods in the Machines' power plants and are assigned to disposing of humans who die in their pods or awaken from the Matrix. Presumably, they also monitor humans in the real world for infections and diseases, disposing of them if they pose a health risk to the other farmed humans. Dead humans are typically liquefied and fed intrevenously to other pod humans, so if a sick human was proccessed in this manner, it would threaten the health of any human batteries that fed off its liquid nutrients.
