The Egg Shooter is a humanoid Badnik that appears in Sonic Unleashed. It is a modified version of the Egg Fighter, designed for ranged combat as opposed to melee fighting.
Overview[]
The Egg Shooter has the same humanoid body structure as the Egg Fighter, with a large hemispherical body and cap-shaped head. The body is covered in grey plating and the body sports red optics and a yellow mouth grille. Instead of hands, the Egg Shooter is fitted with a machine gun on each arm.
Egg Shooters only appear in a few stages, most notably in Eggmanland. Appearing among groups of other enemies, they will hang back and fire their guns at Sonic in a straight line. They can fire for three seconds straight before needing to reload. In daytime sections, Sonic can avoid the Egg Shooters' gunfire by crouching or sliding. In nighttime sections, the Werehog can guard against their shots without the Shield Gauge depleting significantly.
