The A-750 Grappler, also known as the Simian, is an enemy robot from the video game Binary Domain. Developed by Amada Corporation on behalf of the Ministry of Homeland Affairs, the Simian was initially a prototype meant to research the application for animal movement in robots. The MHA were so pleased with the results of the research that they commissioned a series of these monkey-like machines to be used for reconnaissance and riot control.
The Simians are fleet-footed robots with movements similar to the primates they are based on. They are half the size of the average adult human, have light armour and no weapons, but are always deployed in large groups and will swarm upon targets and beat them into submission.
