D-CYPHER is a robotic crew in Dance Central 2 and Dance Central 3.
History[]
In the Crew Challenge gameplay, you will enter the Showdown Marathon in Dr. Tan's airship. Dr. Tan demonstrates D-CYPHER after the reveal and before the dance battle against them. After five songs that the crews have used at the end per crew, they got destroyed and Dr. Tan vows that he will return though he is not fully defeated.
CYPH-56[]
CYPH-56 is a robotic dancer in Dance Central 2. They're a member of D-CYPHER along with CYPH-78. CYPH-56 are very competitive, and they hate losing. they first appear in the Showdown Marathon, known as D-CYPHER Crew Challenge.
CYPH-56 was created by Dr. Tan to be a "perfect" dancer. They're in the Final Challenge in Dance Central 2.
Attire[]
- Crew Look: They're a pink, gray, black and white dancing robot. They can change expressions but usually don't do it while dancing, and their face and chest glow pink.
- Battle Damage: CYPH-56 looks exactly the same as their crew look, but with damage and burnt, sparking joints. They have an X on their face when you choose Battle Damage. Unlock it by doing the Showdown Marathon a third time in Medium or Hard.
CYPH-78[]
CYPH-78 is the blue robotic dancer. They're a member of D-CYPHER along with CYPH-56.
They were created by Dr. Tan to be a "perfect" dancer. CYPH-78 is in the Final Challenge in Dance Central 2.

D-CYPHER ELITE is a crew with only one robot with Dr. Tan.
CYPH-ELITE[]
CYPH-ELITE is an unlockable character in Dance Central 2. It looks the same as CYPH-56, but with gold instead of white. It is a member of D-CYPHER Elite with Dr. Tan. On the website, it is seen that it's name is Bernice. CYPH-ELITE is a very sour dancer. When they lose, they start glitching a lot and get into Attack Mode. Dr. Tan goes crazy when they are in Attack Mode. CYPH-ELITE wants to sabotage every human, excluding Dr. Tan. In Dance Central 3, CYPH-ELITE is no longer a crew member with Dr. Tan, in light with the return of Oblio for the Murder of Crows.
Errors[]
- In Dance Central 3, both CYPH-56 and CYPH-78 lack their mechanical movement sounds and their expression changes among their finishing animations except their quoting when you collect stars.
