Neon Tiger is a Maverick Reploid and one of the eight selectable bosses in Mega Man X3 and Mega Man Xtreme 2. Originally, he was a poacher hunter, designed to ensure no one attempted to steal and/or harm the small amount of remaining natural wildlife, but became a Maverick after being infected with Dr. Doppler's enhanced Maverick virus.
Utilizing solar energy as a power source, his power is said to be unlimited as long as there is sunlight available. However, he also possesses highly advanced visual sensors, granting him quick reflexes and making him a dangerous opponent even in total darkness.
Abilities[]
- Ray Claws - Three energy claws are attached to each of Neon's forearms. They are capable of slicing through just about anything. X can copy the Ray Claw ability in Xtreme 2.
- Ray Splasher - A solar ray weapon fired from Neon's tail. X can copy this ability.
Weakness[]
- Spinning Blade - Being struck by this weapon interrupts Neon's power circulation.
