Boomer Kuwanger is a Maverick boss from Mega Man X/Maverick Hunter X. This Reploid's design was based on the Japanese stag beetle. Formerly a member of the Maverick Hunters' 17th Elite Unit, he decided to follow Sigma's rebellion based purely on logical thinking. He has no sense of right or wrong, though he does enjoy a good fight. During the rebellion, he took over the tower in the center of Abel City and used it as a base, analysing the data of various Reploids. He took a particular interest in Mega Man X and relished the opportunity to fight him.
Abilities[]
- Warp Dash - Kuwanger can move so fast that he appears to be teleporting.
- Boomerang Cutter - The horns on Kuwanger's head are actually a single projectile weapon. He can remove the boomerang from his head and throw it, slicing his victims apart and can even use it to retrieve out-of-reach items. X can copy this weapon.
- Dead Lift - One of Kuwanger's favourite moves is to sneak up behind his opponent and grab them with his horns, then throw them into the ceiling for massive damage.
Weakness[]
- Homing Torpedo - Despite his Warp Dash, Kuwanger cannot evade the Homing Torpedo, which locks on to his power signature and follows him no matter what.
