Galvatron is the future leader of the Decepticons in various continuities of the Generation One Transformers. His exact origins differ in each continuity, but in many of them he his the rebuilt incarnation of Decepticon leader Megatron, given a new form and new powers by the Chaos-Bringer himself, Unicron. Galvatron embodies Megatron's rage and lust for power magnified many times and lacks even the most minute shred of empathy. Not only is he even stronger than Megatron, but he is completely insane, lashing out at Autobots and even his own soldiers. Nothing matters to Galvatron except for power, absolute power over absolutely everything, and he will never stop until either the universe bows to him or lies dead at his feet.

- Alternate Mode - Galvatron transforms into a ground-based weapons platform, capable of unleashing incalculable destructive power.
- Laser Cannon - Galvatron's arm-cannon emits chemically-produced direct-current electricity that can reduce another Transformer to ash in one shot.
