The Roboenza Incident is an event that takes place in Mega Man 10. Throughout the game, robots are coming down with a mysterious virus that causes the robots it infects to go berserk, leading to a wave of robot crimes. Dr. Thomas Light's robot assistant Roll is also infected with this "roboenza" and becomes critically ill. The criminal scientist Dr. Wily also approaches Dr. Light, claiming that his own robot forces have been affected by the virus and suggests that it is in both scientists best interests to work together to find a cure for roboenza. Whilst Light and Wily work on curing the virus, Mega Man and Proto Man hunt down and defeat the robots that have been driven mad by the virus.
As it turns out, Dr. Wily was the one who created the roboenza virus and he sabotages Dr. Light's attempts to cure it by stealing the device that produces the vaccine. After defeating Dr. Wily's Robot Masters, Mega Man and Proto Man pursue the doctor to his fortress and take back the vaccine, using it to cure Roll and all the other infected robots.
