"It's Laser Time, Boyzz!" - Ziv Zulander's catchphrase
Ziv Zulander - regularly nicknamed ZZ - is the main protagonist of the 1993 French animated series Bots Master. A young but brilliant robotics engineer, he originally worked for the Robotic Megafacts Corporation (RM Corp) designing robots to better help humanity and the world. However, RM Corp's CEO, the sinister Sir Lewis Leon Paradim, stole ZZ's designs for the 3A series so that he could use them in his plans for world domination.
Zulander was forced to go on the run along with his younger sister Blitzy, and together they planned to fight back against the Corp and expose Paradim to the world for the villain he was. ZZ used his remarkable mechanical expertise to design and build a group of robots called "Boyzz" (Brain Operated Young Zygoetopic Zoids) to fight back against RM Corp, not only making them capable fighters but programming them with their own unique personalities.
